Having worked in global brand strategy and sales for companies such as Marriott International, Kellogg's, Barilla, Hanesbrands, Mazda, and Unilever, Amani is a strategic leader with decades of diverse industry experience focused on delivering sustainable marketing that moves consumers and drives business results.
Through her work in innovation, brand positioning, campaign and concept development, creative execution and more, Amani has been recognized for transforming global brands to deliver continuous growth. She believes in asking the tough questions and seeks the path toward simplicity, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement. She is also fiercely committed to the development of people and a positive organizational culture.
Amani currently serves as Senior Director Global Brand Strategy at Marriott International, where she leads efforts to create and consolidate brand execution and guest experience across the globe for the 13+ brands within the select and midscale categories.
Amani holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A. in Japanese and English from the University of Michigan.
